Marine Electronic Development training program

The Marine Electronic Development (MELDEV) training program is a national training and development program. It’s designed to recruit electronics technologists and train them for work with the Canadian Coast Guard.

This 3-year program takes place at Marine Communications and Traffic Services centres and the Canadian Coast Guard College. It combines hands-on and theoretical learning.

Upon successful completion of the program you’ll immediately hold a full-time position with the Canadian Coast Guard.

Some technologists go on to work for the Canadian Coast Guard College as managers and instructors.
